Establishing a National Standard for Mandated Reporter Training

The iLookOut Project provides interactive, online learning programs to promote child well-being and improve the reporting of suspected child abuse.

iLookOut for Child Abuse is the official mandated reporter training for Head Start programs nationwide and is helping to establish a national training standard for child protection.

Our Story

iLookOut is funded by the National Institutes of Health and its mandated reporter training has been shown (in both “Real World” and randomized controlled trials) to significantly improve knowledge and attitudes about child abuse and its reporting.

iLookOut's courses deliver engaging, user-friendly education that can be completed over multiple sessions on a computer, tablet, or smartphone.

They are currently designed for people who work or volunteer with young children, though our goal is to also create micro-learning courses for parents/caregivers.
